SEX, ADULTERY & FORNICATION - NYOBS 08.18

 SEX

David had just turned 11
when I took him outside to our camper to talk privately with him about the “facts of life”; how babies were made.  After only a minute, he interrupted me to say “I already know that”.  - I asked him, “How did you find out about this?”  He said “Gina told me” – I said “Gina ! !  – GOOD GRIEF !
Gina is only 8 years old”!!

Today, it’s considered just plain old fashion to prohibit sex outside of marriage. - 99% of all insects, birds, animals and humans all have sex.  People are born with the desire to have sex; born to reproduce.   God Himself said to be fruitful and multiply Gen 1:28  - So what’s the big deal?

Dishonor God
  • Part of the problem with our society today is that we do not pass down to our children what we learned from our parents.  It only takes one generation for God’s laws to be forgotten.
  • All through Bible history, Israel got in trouble because they didn’t pass down the laws of God from generation to generation.
  • Parents are responsible to God for teaching God’s precepts to their children. They are responsible for their children’s discipline. – This literally saves them from destruction.
  • It’s a commandmentNo sex outside of marriage. – Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, so therefore do not dishonor God. – SEX IS A SIN outside of marriage.
  • Someone that is in sexual immorality is destroying himself.
Prov 15:5 – Listen to your parents.
5 A fool spurns his father's discipline, but whoever heeds correction shows prudence. NIV
Prov 23:13-14 – Parents should discipline their children
13 Do not withhold discipline from a child; if you punish him with the rod, he will not die.
14 Punish him with the rod and save his soul from death.  NIV
Prov 6:32 – An adultery destroys himself for lack of knowledge.
32 But a man who commits adultery lacks judgment; whoever does so destroys himself. NIV

Listen to your parents
  • Why buy a cow, when you can get the milk free through the fence. – Stolen water is the sweetest. – Bread eaten in a secret place is the best.
  • Those casual hugs can light up the imagination and emotion of your heart.
  • Adultery doesn’t just happen – It’s planned – An adulterous spirit can’t stay home.  Plans must be made for rendezvous and then more plans to cover it up with lies.  This path is the way to Hell and eternal separation from God.
  • I will not list it all here, but read  what a father told his son about prostitutes
Prov 9:13-18 – Stolen water is the sweetest
13 The woman Folly is loud; she is undisciplined and without knowledge.
14 She sits at the door of her house, on a seat at the highest point of the city,
15 calling out to those who pass by, who go straight on their way.
16 "Let all who are simple come in here!" she says to those who lack judgment.
17 "Stolen water is sweet; food eaten in secret is delicious!"
18 But little do they know that the dead are there, that her guests are in the depths of the grave.   NIV
Prov 7:6-27 – The path to immorality leads to hell.
6 At the window of my house I looked out through the lattice.
7 I saw among the simple, I noticed among the young men, a youth who lacked judgment.
8 He was going down the street near her corner, walking along in the direction of her house
9 at twilight, as the day was fading, as the dark of night set in.
10 Then out came a woman to meet him, dressed like a prostitute and with crafty intent.
11(She is loud and defiant, her feet never stay at home;
12 now in the street, now in the squares, at every corner she lurks.)
13 She took hold of him and kissed him and with a brazen face she said:
14 "I have fellowship offerings at home; today I fulfilled my vows.
15 So I came out to meet you; I looked for you and have found you! 16 I have covered my bed with colored linens from Egypt.
17 I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes and cinnamon.
18 Come, let's drink deep of love till morning; let's enjoy ourselves with love!
19 My husband is not at home; he has gone on a long journey.
20 He took his purse filled with money and will not be home till full moon."
21 With persuasive words she led him astray; she seduced him with her smooth talk.
22 All at once he followed her like an ox going to the slaughter, like a deer stepping into a noose
23 till an arrow pierces his liver, like a bird darting into a snare, little knowing it will cost him his life.
24 Now then, my sons, listen to me; pay attention to what I say.
25 Do not let your heart turn to her ways or stray into her paths.
26 Many are the victims she has brought down; her slain are a mighty throng.
27 Her house is a highway to the grave, leading down to the chambers of death. NIV
Prov 5:20-21 – Listen Son, God will see your immorality
20 For why should you, my son, be enraptured by an immoral woman,
And be embraced in the arms of a seductress?
21 For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD,
And He ponders all his paths. NKJV
Prov 5:8 – Walk on the other side of the street
8 Keep to a path far from her, do not go near the door of her house,
NIV
Eph 5:3 – Stay away from anything that hints of being impure
3 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people. NIV
AIDS
  • Do not despise instruction – incline your ear to the voice of the teacher that walks in the ways of God.
  • Receive instruction now to save yourself from trouble and despair later.
  • Immorality make you unstable – What you have worked for will go to another.
  • Save your family – your home – your assets - from total ruin
  • Save yourself from AIDS
Prov 5:6-13 -When you get AIDS you will wish you had listened.
6 Lest you ponder her path of life--Her ways are unstable; You do not know them.
7 Therefore hear me now, my children, And do not depart from the words of my mouth.
8 Remove your way far from her, and do not go near the door of her house,
9 Lest you give your honor to others, and your years to the cruel one; 10 Lest aliens be filled with your wealth, and your labors go to the house of a foreigner;
11 And you mourn at last, when your FLESH and your BODY are consumed,
12 And say: "How I have hated instruction, and my heart despised correction!
13 I have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined my ear to those who instructed me! NKJV

Webster:

  • Bestiality – Sexual relation between a person and an animal.

Most of the time, the whore
or the woman is the one being addressed in scripture,
however it’s actually referring to a people –
both male and female – married and unmarried -
It’s a concept about honoring God.
God:
  • The Bible says it’s a commandment - Do not commit adultery.
  • If you commit adultery you do not have the Spirit of God in you.
  • Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit – You dishonor God. - Your body is not for sexual immorality, which deserves death and separation from God.
  • God groups Sexual immorality with Witchcraft.
  • Your thoughts, prayers, offerings and sacrifices become an abomination to Him - He will remove Himself from you and give you what you want.
Mark 10:18-19 – It’s a commandment
19 You know the commandments: `Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, do not defraud, honor your father and mother.'" NIV
Ex 20:14 – Don’t do it.
14 "You shall not commit adultery. NIV
Jude 18-19 – You don’t have the Spirit Following ungodly desires,
18 They said to you, "In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires."
19 These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit. NIV
1 Cor 6:18-20 – Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.
18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body.
19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;
20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body. NIV
1 Cor 6:13 – The body is not for sexual immorality.
13 "Food for the stomach and the stomach for food"-but God will destroy them both. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. NIV
Rom 1:32 – Immorality deserves death
32 Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. NIV
Rev 21:8 – The sexually immoral will not go to heaven.
8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars-their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death." NIV
Gal 5:19-21 – Sexual immorality is grouped with witchcraft.
19 The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;
20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions
21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. NIV
Rom 1:28 – God will give you what you want – He will walk away
28 Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. NIV

Deut 23:18 – Your offering is an abomination
18 You shall not bring the wages of a harlot or the price of a dog  (boy prostitute) to the house of the LORD your God for any vowed offering, for both of these are an abomination to the LORD your God. NKJV
Prov 15:8 – Your sacrifice is an abomination
8 The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, NKJV

Sex is strong
  • The human desire for sex is strong for both sexes – sometimes the passion is so great that you can’t escape it.  Sometimes it is forced; -  RAPE
  • While immoral behavior is only one of the Ten Commandments, it is by far one of the strongest as it spins off – Lies – emotional distress – broken families – disease – sickness – and sometimes murder.
  • When you are horny, a kiss can melt you. - Even a toad frog will look like a prince.
Prov 27:7-8 –When you’re horny, a toad frog looks like a prince.
7 He who is full loathes honey, but to the hungry even what is bitter tastes sweet.
8 Like a bird that strays from its nest is a man who strays from his home. NIV.
Prov 23:27-28 – Sex is a deep pit and hard to get out
27 for a prostitute is a deep pit and a wayward wife is a narrow well.
28 Like a bandit she lies in wait, and multiplies the unfaithful among men. NIV
Prov 22:14 – An immoral woman’s kiss pulls you to the pit
14 The mouth of an adulteress is a deep pit; he who is under the LORD's wrath will fall into it  NIV
Prov 5:3 – Her lips melt you.
3 For the lips of an immoral woman drip honey, and her mouth is smoother than oil; NKJV
In Secret
  • God sees what you do in secret – your sins will find you out – The seed that you sow in the secret of the dark, will become a harvest in the light, of far more that you expected and last far longer than you wanted.
  • The adulterer seeks the dark places thinking no one will know him. - Have you ever wondered why night clubs and bars are so dark?
  • If you mess with fire, you will get burned.
John 4:16-18 – God knows your innermost thoughts
16 He told her, "Go, call your husband and come back."
17 "I have no husband," she replied. Jesus said to her, "You are right when you say you have no husband.
18 The fact is, you have had five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband. What you have just said is quite true." NIV
Job 24:15 – The adulterer thinks no one knows what he does.
15 The eye of the adulterer watches for dusk; he thinks, `No eye will see me,' NIV

12 You did it in secret, but I will do this thing in broad daylight before all Israel.'" NIV
Eph 5:11-13 – Stay away from immorality – it will be exposed
11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.
12 For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.
13 But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, NIV
Prov 6:27-29 – Play with fire and you will get burned.
27 Can a man take fire to his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?
28 Can one walk on hot coals, and his feet not be seared?
29 So is he who goes in to his neighbor's wife; Whoever touches her shall not be innocent. NKJV

Sodom and Gomorrah
  • In the very beginning of the Bible we see the power of sex and the downward spiral it takes the person that cannot control their desires – One sinful act causes them to do another. The scriptures will make you blush at the lack of sensitivity to purity.
  • The drive for sex makes your “understanding” become confused about what is right and wrong.  Your “conscious” become dulled and finally is seared over; it puts your heart in bondage.
  • This powerful sex drive causes some people to seek sexual intercourse with partners of the same sex; to have sex with animals – God says it is a great hatred - an abomination - loathsome – disgusting – revolting – makes Him want to puke.
Eph 4:17-19 – Indulging in every kind of impurity and lust
17 So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking.
18 They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts.
19 Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continual lust for more. NIV
Gen 19:5 – Men wanting sex with other men
5 They called to Lot, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them." NIV

Ezek 22:10-11 – In you are detestable things.
10 In you are those who dishonor their fathers' bed; in you are those who violate women during their period, when they are ceremonially unclean.
11 In you one man commits a detestable offense with his neighbor's wife, another shamefully defiles his daughter-in-law, and another violates his sister, his own father's daughter. NIV
Lev 18:23 – Don’t have sex with animals
23 "`Do not have sexual relations with an animal and defile yourself with it. A woman must not present herself to an animal to have sexual relations with it; that is a perversion. NIV
Lev 20:15-16 – Kill the person who has sex with an animal
15 "`If a man has sexual relations with an animal, he must be put to death, and you must kill the animal.
16 "`If a woman approaches an animal to have sexual relations with it, kill both the woman and the animal. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads. NIV
2 Peter 2:14 – Sin never stops - like a dog returns to its vomit.
14 With eyes full of adultery, they never stop sinning; they seduce the unstable; they are experts in greed-an accursed brood!
22 Of them the proverbs are true: "A dog returns to its vomit," and, "A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud." NIV
Lev 18:20 – Don’t have sex with your friends wife
20 And you shall not lie carnally with thy neighbor's wife, to defile thyself with her. ASV

29 Do not degrade your daughter by making her a prostitute, or the land will turn to prostitution and be filled with wickedness. NIV
Rev 3:16 – Immorality makes God want to throw up.
16 I will spew you out of my mouth. KJV
Abortion
  • You can hardly talk about sex without talking about the decisions made concerning immoral activity leading to the aborting of a child.
  • The term Pro-Choice sounds like a good thing, but concerning the life of a baby, it means you have the right to murder your child.  Satan has a way of making evil seem good.
  • Satan in an attempt to make dark appear as light, tries to trick you into thinking of your baby as a blob or just tissue and tries to rename an unborn child by calling it a fetus or just a product of conception.
  • The life of a child begins at conception and is wonderfully and fearfully made in the image of God and formed and knitted together by the hands of God Himself.
  • A child is genetically complete at conception and is independent of its mother, depending only on her for nourishment; at 42 days the child has brain activity and can experience pain.  In eight weeks the child has developed all its parts.
  • Partial birth abortion is when a child is maneuvered in the womb to come out feet first 4/5th of the way out; then they suck the brains out of the child’s head before the remainder of its body is removed.
  • The abortion of a child affects not only the mother, but the father and all the family members connected to this child. – The scars are forever – but so is God’s forgiveness.
Ps 127:3 – A child is an inheritance from God
3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. KJV
Gen 1:27 – A child is made in the image of God
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. NIV
Jer 1:5 – God forms every child in the womb.
5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, NIV
Ps 139:13-14 – It is God that knit together each child
13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. NIV

Are you Single
  • If you are single and have sex, then you should get married.
  • God says to abstain from fornication.   If you don’t want to marry him, then don’t sleep with him.
Acts 15:20 – Abstain from fornication
20 we write to them, that they abstain from the pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from what is strangled, and from blood.
ASV
1 Thess 4:3 – God’s will – abstain from fornication
3 For this is the will of God, (even) your sanctification, that ye abstain from fornication; ASV
Ex 22:16 – If you have sex, then you should get married.
16 "If a man seduces a virgin who is not pledged to be married and sleeps with her, he must pay the bride-price, and she shall be his wife. NIV

Are you married
  • If you are married, God says to be satisfied with your own wife – Don’t look around at others women.
  • An unfaithful wife is like rottenness in her husbands bones.
  • When he finds out, there will be hell to pay – Jealousy will show no mercy and takes revenge.
Prov 5:19-20 – Be satisfied with the wife God gave you.
19 A loving doe, a graceful deer--may her breasts satisfy you always,
may you ever be captivated by her love.
20 Why be captivated, my son, by an adulteress? Why embrace the bosom of another man's wife? NIV
Matt 5:28 – You sin when you look lustfully
28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart NIV
Mark 7:21-23 – Thoughts of immorality make a man unclean.
21 For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery,
22 greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. 23 All these evils come from inside and make a man `unclean.'" NIV
Prov 12:4 – An unfaithful wife rots her husband’s bones.
4 An excellent wife is the crown of her husband, But she who causes shame is like rottenness in his bones. NKJV
Prov 6:34:35 – Jealousy shows no mercy and takes revenge.
34 for jealousy arouses a husband's fury, and he will show no mercy when he takes revenge.
35 He will not accept any compensation; he will refuse the bribe, however great it is. NIV
A covenant
  • Marriage is a covenant between a man, a woman and God. – There are three in the marriage covenant.  You are in covenant with God.
  • Covenants must not be broken. - To dishonor your spouse is to dishonor God.
Mal 2:14 – The Lord is in covenant with you and your wife.
14 You ask, "Why?" It is because the LORD is acting as the witness between you and the wife of your youth, because you have broken faith with her, though she is your partner, the wife of your marriage covenant. NIV
Job 31:1 – Marriage is a covenant
1 "I have made a covenant with my eyes; Why then should I look upon a young woman? NKJV

Wife Swapping
  • Drink in the love of your own wife – Don’t share her with your neighbor.
Prov 5:15-18 – Share yourself and your wife with no one
15 Drink water from your own cistern, running water from your own well.
16 Should your springs overflow in the streets, your streams of water in the public squares?
17 Let them be yours alone, never to be shared with strangers.
18 May your fountain be blessed, and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth. NIV

Two become one
  • When you have sex with someone who is not your wife, you are uniting yourself with her and all her other lovers. – The two of you become one flesh.
  • Sex is like a drug that dulls the mind – smoothes over bumps in a marriage – Outside of marriage it makes sin “seem not so bad” – It was just what was needed at the time.
1 Cor 6:15-17 – You become one with the one you have sex with.
15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never!
16 Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, "The two will become one flesh."  17 But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with him in spirit.
Prov 30:20 – Sex drugs the mind – makes all things right
20 This is the way of an adulterous woman: She eats and wipes her mouth, And says, "I have done no wickedness." NKJV

The Good Wife
  • The characteristics of a good wife – She is of noble character – brings good to her family Works vigorously with eager hands – Provides for the family needs – Helps her neighbor – Has strength and dignity – She instructs her children – Does not gossip, curse or make sexual innuendos – She loves the Lord.
Prov 18:22 – A good wife is favor from the Lord.
22 He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the LORD NIV
Prov 19:14 – A good wife is sent from God
14 Houses and wealth are inherited from parents, but a prudent wife is from the LORD NIV
Prov 31:10-31 - Characteristics of a good wife
10 A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.
11 Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. 12 She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.
13 She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands.
14 She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar.
15 She gets up while it is still dark; she provides food for her family and portions for her servant girls.
16 She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.
17 She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks.
18 She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night.
19 In her hand she holds the distaff and grasps the spindle with her fingers.
20 She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy.
21 When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet.
22 She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple.
23 Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.
24 She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes.
25 She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.
26 She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. 27 She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.
28 Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:
29 "Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all."
30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.
31 Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate. NIV
Prov 11:22 – Course language shouldn’t come from a “lady”.
22 Like a gold ring in a pig's snout is a beautiful woman who shows no discretion. NIV

Shun the immoral “Christian”.
  • If you really want to know what a person is like, just look at the friends they choose. – Birds of a feather flock together.
  • If a person calls themselves a Christian, but is active in sexual immorality, you are not to associate with them. – Don’t even “Do Lunch” with them.
  • Give them over to Satan so that they are “shaken back to their senses” and save their souls from the lake of fire and the permanent separation from God.
1 Cor 5:1 – Don’t associate-Christians who are sexually immoral.
1 It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that does not occur even among pagans: A man has his father's wife.
5 hand this man over to Satan, so that the sinful nature may be destroyed and his spirit saved on the day of the Lord.
9 I have written you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people-
11 But now I am writing you that you must not associate with anyone who calls himself a brother but is sexually immoral NIV

There is Hope
  • Sexual immorality is not a new temptation or something special just in your life.
  • Do not test God – You have control over your own body - He will give you a way of escape.
  • You are living in a life of extreme ignorance, but God has extreme mercy.
  • He gives you time to repent and leave the life of immorality behind for a new life that honors Him – Life is choice driven – You don’t have to stay where you are – It’s a choice.
  • If you are weak in your decision, share this word study with your partner – perhaps the two of you can be strong together.
1 Cor 10:8-9 – Do not test God
8 We should not commit sexual immorality, as some of them did-and in one day twenty-three thousand of them died.
9 We should not test the Lord, as some of them did-and were killed by snakes NIV
Gal 5:22-23 – You have control over your body
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness and self-control. NIV
1 Cor 10:13 – God will make a way for you to escape temptation.
13 No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. NIV
Rev 2:20-21 – God gives us time to repent
20 I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols.
21 I have given her time to repent of her immorality, NIV
John 8:4-11 – Jesus forgives
4 and said to Jesus, "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery.
5 In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?"
6 They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger.
7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her."
8 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
9 At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing
10 Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?"
11 "No one, sir," she said. "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin." NIV
1 Tim 1:13-14 – You are in ignorance – God abundantly pardons.
13 Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief.
14 The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. NIV
Josh 24:15 – Chose today who you will serve
15 But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD." NIV

Leave friends behind
  • Your friends will thing you are acting strange when you don’t run with the pack anymore
  • They will probably make fun of you.
1 Peter 4:3-4 – You must leave the past behind.
3 For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do-living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry.
