WINE - NYOBS 27.11

RABBIT TRAIL FROM NYOBS 27 - MARRIAGE

Wine - Rabbit Trail
Wine in general in the scriptures is symbolic of spiritual blessings, fruitfulness, goodness, prosperity, abundance, safety and health.
This symbolism is woven throughout the Old Testament.
We are not made better by what we eat or drink or what we don’t eat or drink.
It is not what goes into a man’s mouth that defiles him; it’s what comes out.
Drinking alcohol is not the sin; drunkenness is the sin - NYOBS 03.21 Beer, Booze & Bubbly

Gal 5:19-21 – Don’t be a Drunkard
19 The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;
20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions
