SAME SEX MARRIAGE - NYOBS 18.10

SAME SEX MARRIAGE
PARTNERS

A first Word

I had commented on face book that God said Homosexuality was an “abomination” and
that I was going to go with what God had said. – Their reply was “Judge not that you be judged”.
“Why is my sin of being GAY worst than your sins”?
They went on to say that my position fostered Hate and bigotry.

If they persecuted me, (for what I said) they will persecute you also. John 15:20 NIV

In the Beginning
  • Webster; Marriage:  The state of being married - To join in wedlock as husband and wife – Intimately joined. – Husband; a male - Wife; a female. – Procreate; to produce or bring into existence.
  • Bible - Marriage is a covenant between a man, a woman and God.
  • God said – when a man marries a woman they become one flesh, just as when he made Eve, a woman from Adam’s own flesh. – NOTE; He did not make another man from Adams flesh.
  • In the beginning – God created man both male and female and commanded them to multiply.
  • Procreate - The advertisement read “Two Fathers are better than None. - Two women or two men cannot multiply. – While adoption is a wonderful thing, it is not procreation.
Gen 1:27 – God created male and female.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. NIV
Gen 1:28 – We are commanded to have children
28 God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it”. NIV
Gen 2:22 – God made Woman from man’s flesh
22 Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. NIV
Gen 2:24 – Man and wife become one flesh
24 For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh. NIV

What did God say?
  • If you don’t care what God says, then this study will be meaningless to you.
  • Right out of the chute God said two men should not lie together as a man with a woman BAM
  • God said every man should have a wife and every woman a husband lest Satan get a foothold in your life. BAM - Then He said if you don’t listen to me, you will get AIDS. – BAM
  • God said to cut off the pervert from your presence. – BAM
  • If you accept their lifestyle, you become a part of it. .- BAM – Silence is acceptance
  • God, the JUDGE uses words such as detestable and abomination – He says you are worthy of deathBAM
  • If you are GAY, you have all ready been judged by God. – BAM - BAM - BAM - So don’t get mad with me because I agree with what “God the Judge” has already said...
Lev 18:22 – Same sex should not lie together.
22 Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.
Rom 1:27 – The recompense is AIDS
27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. NIV
Lev 18:29 – Cut off the homosexual from your presence
29 Everyone who does any of these detestable things--such persons must be cut off from their people NIV
1 Cor 7:2 – Every man should have a wife; a wife a husband
2 But since there is so much immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband.
1 Cor 2:5 – Satan can get foothold
5 Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. NIV
Rom 1:32 – You approve of those who practice abominations
32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. NKJV

How does God feel about it?
  • Webster; Sodomy – Any sexual intercourse held to be abnormal especially bestiality or anal intercourse between two male persons – Lesbian –A homosexual woman - Gay –A homosexual
  • How does God feel - As an example of how God feels about sodomy, He rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah; burned up both cities and the vegetation.
Gen 18:20-21 – Their sin is grievous
20 Then the LORD said, "The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin so grievous NIV
Gen 19:24-25 – God rained down burning sulfur
24 Then the LORD rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah--from the LORD out of the heavens.
25 Thus he overthrew those cities and the entire plain, including all those living in the cities--and also the vegetation in the land. NIV

Tolerance – Open Minded – Freedom of Expression – The Gay agenda
  • Satan is still pushing out his agenda of DOUBT - Did God really say that?  Surely you won’t die.
  • According to God – We should NOT tolerate nor be open minded about this sin, but to speak up in love. – Our words are “Course Correctors” and can cover a multitude of sins.
Gen 3:4 – Did God really say that? – You will not surly die
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
Lev 19:17 – Speak out or share in his guilt
17 Do not hate your brother in your heart. Rebuke your neighbor frankly so you will not share in his guilt. NIV
James 5:20 – Our words can save him from death
20 remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of (his) sins. NIV
I was born this way
  • Webster:  Orientation – A CHANGE in position of an organism under a stimulus.
  • In the Garden of Eden, Adam copped out on his sin by saying it was God’s fault that he ate the fruit because of the woman that God had given to him.
  • Its God’s fault - I was born this wayDNA - You were not born a homosexual; you just want an excuse to practice your perverted lustful lifestyle. – When you put garbage in your heart, garbage comes out. I’m not being condescending; it’s just a fact.  NYOBS 2 Homosexuality
  • It’s a choiceYou delight in your abominations and sadly to say, you are going to HELL
  • There is Hope though – Confess and FORSAKE your sins and mercy will abound.
Isa 66:3 – It’s a choice to delight your soul in abominations
3 They have chosen their own ways, and their souls delight in their abominations; NIV
1 Cor 6:9-10 – The wicked will go to Hell
9 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders
10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. NIV
Prov 28:13 – Confess sin and receive mercy.
13 He that hides his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy. KJV
Matt 12:34-36 – Garbage in, Garbage out
34 For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.
35 The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. NIV
This fosters Hate
  • When a Christian sees someone perishing and reaches out with a word, it’s not in HATE, it’s in LOVE. - Weeping over perishing souls – Anguishing over sin – Wanting to reach out to the neighbor is the love of Christ.
  • The Christian is to love all of God’s creations, but is to hate the sin. – Don’t confuse the Sin with the Person.
  • Rebuke your Neighbor - To be silent is to share in his guilt – I didn’t say it – God said it.
  • When you deliberately sin, you are mocking God and … you will finally reap what you sow.
Matt 5:4 – Those who morn over the perishing
4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. NIV
Ps 119:136 – Tears flow when God’s law is not obeyed
136 Streams of tears flow from my eyes, for your law is not obeyed.
NIV
Lev 19:18 – Love your neighbor
18 Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD. NIV
Lev 19:17 – Rebuke your neighbor frankly
17 Do not hate your brother in your heart. Rebuke your neighbor frankly so you will not share in his guilt. NIV
Gal 6:7 – Knowing wrong – not turning – mocks God
7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. NIV
Free in Christ
  • Christ set us free from the law of sin. - When sin abounds, Gods grace abounds more.
  • Our freedom does not give us the right to continue in sin. – God forbid. –
  • God will not be mocked.
Rom 5:20 – Where sin abounded – Grace abounded more
20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: KJV
Rom 6:1 – Should we sin more so grace can abound more
1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? KJV
Rom 6:2 – We should no longer live in sin
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? KJV
Rom 6:15 – We are not under the law and we should not sin
15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. KJV

The Way Out – The Way of Escape
  • There is a way of escape – A way to spend eternity with Jesus Christ.
  • Homosexuality is NOT the unpardonable sinBut it can be. – Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit - God will not be mocked - In time He will sear your heart and you won’t be able to turn back. - Making no decision is a decision to reject Christ.
1 Cor 10:13 – God makes a way of escape
13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
1 John 1:9 – Confess you sin – He is faithful to forgive
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness
Rom 10:9-10 – Believe in your heart
9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
Luke 15:7 – The angels will rejoice over you
7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. NIV
John 3:16-18 – Making no decision is condemnation.
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
End Times
  • Our President of the USA recently came out in favor of Same Sex Marriages which the Bible actually foretold would happen.
  • It is prophesized that a leader will come forth that will not regard the God of Israel nor have any moral values or standards. – Not just anti-God, but Anti-Christian. – Self Centered.
  • Scripture says that we should NOT cast the “pearls” of wisdom in front of “pigs” because they just won’t know what to do with it.  They will call your words of concern an intolerance of a different lifestyle, hatred of a sexual orientation and bigotry at its height.
  • God Himself has judged the homosexual and has given him over to his shameful lust.
  • The Judgment “Day of the Lord” is soon and will come unexpectedly.
Dan 11:37 – The Antichrist fosters homosexuality
37 He shall regard neither the God of his fathers nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall exalt himself above them all.
NKJV
Matt 7:6 – Don’t give what is Holy to a dog. – To the pig
6 Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces. NKJV
Rom 1:24 – Go ahead – degrade your bodies with one another
24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. NIV
Rom 1:26-32 – God says; You want it – You got it -
26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones.
27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
28 Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind; to do what ought not to be done.
29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips,
30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents;
31 they are senseless, faithless, heartless, and ruthless.
32 Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. NIV
Luke 17:26-27 – Judgment is coming unexpectedly
26 "Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man.

27 People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all. NIV

 In the multitude of counselors,
 there is wisdom.
Prov 11:14

I am grateful for those that went before me providing concepts, ideas, historical information, and scripture verses.  Because of them I can stand on their shoulders and see further than I otherwise ever could have.
