POWER IN THE BLOOD - NYOBS 85.10

Power in the Blood
Blood Power toward God – Blood Power toward Man – Blood Power toward Satan
First Word

·         Do you remember singing in church; “Would you be free from your burden of sinThere’s power in the blood, power in the blood. – Would you over evil a victory win? There is power, power, wonder-working power in the precious blood of the Lamb.
·         It was the last night of the revival as I walked down to the Alter in front of the whole church to give my life to Jesus. -  I was ten years of age and the Deacons talked with me at length and I emotionally confessed that I did not understand how the Power in the Blood all worked to save me from going to Hell, but I knew I wanted to follow Jesus and that night I was accepted into the fellowship to GROW in my faith.
·         This study is to help Grow your Faith in understanding the Power of the Blood of Christ.  To do this we start in the OT where God gives Moses instructions about an acceptable sacrificial offering to God that would provide temporary FORGIVENESS OF SIN by the shedding of an animal’s blood.
·         The book says EVERYONE HAS SINNED and ALL fall short of God’s glorious standard. -  God sent his only Son to pay the ransom for man and it was God that determined that His blood satisfied the atonement for sin and we cannot add to that nor take away; this concept of the satisfaction of BLOOD for the forgiveness of SIN runs throughout the Book.
·         In the OT the blood sacrifice of animals for sin offerings was only temporary, but in the NT the FINAL sacrifice of Jesus Christ’s blood made it permanent. – His spilled blood was trifold; The Blood toward God. – The Blood toward Man. – The Blood toward Satan.

Romans 3:23 – All have sinned and fall short
23 For EVERYONE HAS SINNED; we all fall short of God’s standard.
Leviticus 1:3-4 – Accepts animal’s death in your place purify you
3 If THE ANIMAL you present as a burnt offering is from the herd, it must be a male with no defects. Lay your hand on the animal’s head, and
4 THE LORD WILL ACCEPT ITS DEATH IN YOUR PLACE
to purify you, making you right with him. (NLT)
John 3:16 – Everyone who believes will have eternal life
16 For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that EVERYONE WHO BELIEVES in him will not perish but
HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. (NLT)

His Blood toward God
·         From our point of view, the blood of Jesus Christ was poured out for us, but primarily it was actually for God. - God cannot look on sin, He sees the blood where there was once sin.
·         Whenever you find the blood mentioned it’s about ATONEMENT, the payment for Sin.  The Jews had a Day of Atonement that was set aside once a year when purification offerings were made to the Lord for Sin. – The High Priest was symbolically a type of Christ who sprinkled the blood in the Holy place before the eyes of God and away from the eyes of man. -  The Wonder Working Power in the blood is toward God
·         It was not possible for the blood of bulls and goats to permanently take away sins, so every year they sacrificed again and again for their Sins, that’s why Christ came into the world.
·         When the death angel passed through Egypt, the Hebrews had placed blood on the lintels and their door posts and then they went inside.  They could no longer see the blood, but God could; when He saw the blood, they were passed over with JUDGMENTThe Wonder Working Power in the blood is toward God
·         Christ has now become our High Priest, but not with the blood of goats and calves, but with his own blood.   He has entered that greater, more perfect Tabernacle in heaven, which was not made by human hands — He entered the Most Holy Place once and for all time and secured our redemption FOREVERThe Power in the blood is toward God
Leviticus 23:28 – Day of Atonement
28 Do no work during that entire day because it is the
DAY OF ATONEMENT, when offerings of purification are made for you, making you right with the LORD your God.
(NLT)
Leviticus 4:5-7 – Pour out the blood on the base of the alter
5 The high priest will then take some of THE BULL’S BLOOD into the Tabernacle,
6 dip his finger in THE BLOOD, and sprinkle it seven times before the LORD in front of the inner curtain of the sanctuary.
7 The priest will then put some of THE BLOOD on the horns of the altar for fragrant incense that stands in the LORD’s presence inside the Tabernacle. He will pour out the rest of the BULL’S BLOOD at the base of the altar for burnt offerings at the entrance of the Tabernacle. (NLT)
Leviticus 1:5 – Splatter the Blood on the sides of the alter
5 Then slaughter the young bull in the LORD’s presence, and Aaron’s sons, the priests, will present the ANIMAL’S BLOOD by splattering it against all sides of the altar that stands at the entrance to the Tabernacle. (NLT)
Leviticus 4:35 – The Blood will purify the people and sins forgiven
35 then he must remove all the sheep’s fat, just as he does with the fat of a sheep presented as a peace offering. He will burn the fat on the altar on top of the special gifts presented to the LORD. Through this process,
the priest will PURIFY THE PEOPLE FROM THEIR SIN,
MAKING THEM RIGHT WITH THE LORD,
and THEY WILL BE FORGIVEN.
(NLT)
Hebrews 9:11-12 – His Blood secured our redemption forever
11 So Christ has now become the High Priest over all the good things that have come. He has entered that greater, more perfect Tabernacle in heaven, which was not made by human hands and is not part of this created world.
12 WITH HIS OWN BLOOD—not the blood of goats and calves—
HE ENTERED THE MOST HOLY PLACE
ONCE FOR ALL TIME and
SECURED OUR REDEMPTION FOREVER. (NLT)
Hebrews 10:2-5 – Blood of Bulls and Goats cannot take away sin.
2 If they could have provided perfect cleansing, the sacrifices would have stopped, for the worshipers would have been purified once for all time, and their feelings of guilt would have disappeared.
3 But instead, those sacrifices actually reminded them of their sins YEAR AFTER YEAR.
4 For IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR THE BLOOD OF BULLS AND GOATS TO TAKE AWAY SINS.
5 THAT IS WHY, WHEN CHRIST CAME INTO THE WORLD, he said to God, “You did not want animal sacrifices or sin offerings. But you have given me a body to offer. (NLT)
Exodus 12:12-13 - When I see the blood, I will pass over you.
12 On that night I will pass through the land of Egypt and strike down every firstborn son and firstborn male animal in the land of Egypt.
I will execute judgment against all the gods of Egypt, for I am the LORD!
13 But THE BLOOD on your doorposts WILL SERVE AS A SIGN, marking the houses where you are staying.
WHEN I SEE THE BLOOD, I WILL PASS OVER YOU.
This plague of death will not touch you when I strike the land of Egypt. (NLT)

His Blood toward Man
·         God paid a RANSOM to save us from the empty life we inherited from our ancestors and THE RANSOM He paid was not mere gold or silver, but was the sinless, spotless Lamb of God, the PRECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST.
·         God presented Jesus as the final sacrifice for sin.  People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, SHEDDING HIS BLOOD - We were made right on the basis of the finished work of Jesus Christ and through His merit alone and not by our personal attainment, nor anything we have done or promise to do; our redemption is totally satisfied by the Blood of Jesus Christ. - The Power in the blood is toward man.
·         Like the temple alter, our guilty consciences has been SPRINKLED WITH CHRIST’S BLOOD and made clean. – Our sense of guilt and our consciousness of Sin is no more, we are cleansed and truly FREE. - We have been brought near and united with Christ because of His sacrificial Blood on the cross. – It never loses its efficacy, its ability to get the job done in perfection; we are kept near every minute of every day.  Our basis of approach into the presence of God in the Most Holy Place is only on the grounds of His shed blood. –
The Wonder Working Power in the blood is toward man.
·         The Book says the human HEART is the most DECEITFUL of all things, and desperately WICKED.  - Our part is just to confess “Father, I HAVE SINNED against both heaven and you; and God has promised to give us a new heart and to put a new spirit within us.
Jeremiah 17:9 – We need a new heart
9 The human HEART is the MOST DECEITFUL of all things, and DESPERATELY WICKED. Who really knows how bad it is?
(NLT)
Psalm 51:10 – Create in me a new heart – Renew a right spirit
10 CREATE IN ME A CLEAN HEART, O God.
Renew a loyal spirit within me. (NLT)
Ezekiel 36:25-26 – God will give us a new heart
25 Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.
26 I WILL GIVE YOU A NEW HEART and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. (NKJV)
Romans 5:8-9 – The Blood of Christ made us right
8 But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.
9 And since WE HAVE BEEN MADE RIGHT in God’s sight
by THE BLOOD OF CHRIST, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation. (NLT)
Romans 3:24-26 People are made right when they believe
24 Yet God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.
25 For GOD PRESENTED JESUS AS THE SACRIFICE FOR SIN. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, SHEDDING HIS BLOOD. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past,
26 for he was looking ahead and including them in what he would do in this present time. God did this to demonstrate his righteousness, for he himself is fair and just, and
HE DECLARES SINNERS TO BE RIGHT IN HIS SIGHT
WHEN THEY BELIEVE IN JESUS.
(NLT)
Romans 5:19 – Because Jesus obedience we were made righteous
19 Because one person
(Adam) disobeyed God, many became sinners. But because one other person (Jesus) obeyed God,
MANY WILL BE MADE RIGHTEOUS. (NLT)
Romans 3:9 – Jew & Gentles are ALL under the power of SIN
9 Well then, should we conclude that we Jews are better than others? No, not at all, for we have already shown that all people, whether Jews or Gentiles, are under the power of sin. (NLT)
Luke 15:18 – Confess; we have sinned against heaven and God
18 I will go home to my father and say, “Father,
I HAVE SINNED against both heaven and you, (NLT)
1 Peter 1:18-19 – God paid the Ransom with the Blood of Christ
18 For you know that God paid a RANSOM to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And THE RANSOM He paid was not mere gold or silver.
19 It was the PRECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. (NLT)
Ephesians 2:13 – We are brought near by the blood of Christ
13 But now YOU HAVE BEEN UNITED with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now
YOU HAVE BEEN BROUGHT NEAR to him through THE BLOOD OF CHRIST. (NLT)
Hebrews 10:19 – We enter heaven because of the blood of Jesus
19 And so, dear brothers and sisters, we can
boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of
THE BLOOD OF JESUS.
(NLT)
Hebrews 10:22 – Our guilty consciences made clean by blood
22  let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our GUILTY CONSCIENCES have been
SPRINKLED WITH CHRIST’S BLOOD to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water. (NLT)

His Blood toward Satan
·         With the fall of man into sin, God separated Himself from man and man became the object of His wrath, but the payment of the sin debt with the Blood of Jesus removed the barrier and restored him to a right standing with God. – It not only freed him from sin, but from every TYPE of sin even those that are hidden; we are totally FREE.
·         The Blood of Jesus Christ satisfied God and now the blood is toward Satan the accuser of our brothers and sisters. The one who accuses us before our God day and night has been thrown down to earth. – When Satan accuses the Believer of BIG BLACK SINS or 50 shades of gray Sin, God just points to the Blood of His Son Jesus the Christ that’s covering the Believer. – The Wonder Working Power in the Blood is toward Satan.
·         Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one; for God Himself has given us right standing with Himself.  -  If God is for us, who can ever be against us?
The Wonder Working Power in the Blood is toward Satan.
·         Who then will condemn us?  No one; for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and as our HIGH PRIEST, He entered the MOST HOLY PLACE once and for all time and SECURED OUR REDEMPTION FOREVER and is now sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, PLEADING our case for us.  God is satisfied with the blood of Christ.
The Wonder Working Power in the Blood is toward Satan.
Romans 3:23 - Everyone has sinned & fall short of God’s glory
23 For EVERYONE HAS SINNED; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. (NLT)
Titus 2:14 – Christ’s blood freed us from every kind of sin
14 He gave his life to FREE US FROM EVERY KIND OF SIN, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds. (NLT)
Revelation 12:9-11 – Satan defeated by the blood of the Lamb
9 This GREAT DRAGON —The ANCIENT SERPENT
called THE DEVIL, or SATAN, the one deceiving the whole world
was thrown down to the earth with all his angels.
10 Then I heard a loud voice shouting across the heavens, “It has come at last— salvation and power and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ. For the ACCUSER of our brothers and sisters HAS BEEN THROWN DOWN to earth— the one who ACCUSES THEM before our God day and night.
11 And they have defeated him by THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die. (NLT)
Romans 8:31-34 - If God is for us, who can ever be against us
31What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?
32 Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?
33 WHO DARES ACCUSE US whom God has chosen for his own?
NO ONE—for God himself has given us right standing with himself.
34 WHO THEN WILL CONDEMN US?
NO ONE—for CHRIST JESUS died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, PLEADING FOR US. (NLT)
Romans 4:8 – Blessed are those who sins have been forgiven
8 Blessed is the one whose SIN the Lord
will never count against them.” (NIV2011)
Hebrews 9:12 – Our High Priest sits in the Most Holy Place
12 With his own blood—not the blood of goats and calves—he entered the MOST HOLY PLACE once for all time and
SECURED OUR REDEMPTION FOREVER. (NLT)

The Take Away

·         Our very first initial approach to God was on the basis of the sacrificial blood of Jesus Christ and each time we approach the throne room it will be on the very same basis until the Lord returns; our entrance is based only on the finished work of the Blood of Christ.
·         While we do not understand everything about the Power in the blood, we do know it has satisfied God and that is all that matters; blessed is the man against whom the Lord will not count his sin. – THERE IS WONDER WORKING POWER IN THE BLOOD.
·         Jesus Christ our High Priest, our advocate has been sitting at the right hand of God the father for 2,000 years pleading our case.  Every time we sin, His mercy and grace becomes greater; the blood was payment enough for our sins, it is sufficient to satisfy God, past, present and future. – Our “conscious” can no longer condemn us, it’s also covered by the blood. - We do not answer the accuser, God does; even Michael the Arc Angel said God will rebuke Satan. The Blood of Jesus Christ satisfied God; it is finished. – It’s in the Book

Jude 1:9 – We don’t answer the accuser - God deals with Satan
9 But even MICHAEL,
ONE OF THE MIGHTIEST OF THE ANGELS,
did not dare accuse the devil of blasphemy, but simply said,
THE LORD REBUKE YOU!” (This took place when Michael was arguing with the devil about Moses’ body.) (NLT)
Romans 4:8 - Blessed is the man who is forgiven of sin
8 blessed is the man against whom the Lord will not count his sin.”
John 19:30 – The Plan of Salvation is finished
30 When Jesus had tasted it, he said, “IT IS FINISHED!” Then he bowed his head and released his spirit. (NLT)
Revelation 21:6 – I am the beginning and the end
6  And he also said, “IT IS FINISHED! I am the Alpha and the Omega—the Beginning and the End.
TO ALL WHO ARE THIRSTY I WILL GIVE FREELY
FROM THE SPRINGS OF THE WATER OF LIFE. (NLT)

In the multitude of counselors,

PRAYER WARRIOR - NYOBS 85.02

PRAYER WARRIOR
Spiritual Warfare – Praying the Scriptures – Intercessory Prayer
First Word

·         My wife was in the hospital for the third time in a month and was very discouraged.  She heard a deep voice from the next room praying for someone and when he came passed her door, she asked would he come in and pray for her also?  He asked “how he should pray” and his deep prayer inspired her and gave her fresh hope. - Have you ever known someone who you thought of as a Prayer Warrior, whose prayers inspire others and give hope?
·         ALL Christians are called to be Prayer Warriors even though this term is not even found in the Book, but some have the unique ability and commitment to pray in INTERCESSION for others; they have a heart for the church, for other believers and GRIEVE over those that have not yet come to the place of acceptance of Jesus Christ.
·         They spend time in the Book understanding how to pray the “WILL OF GOD”.  They see themselves engaged in SPIRITUAL WARFARE against satanic principalities in heavenly places and seek and believe for divine intervention. The Holy Spirit helps the Prayer Warrior intercede on earth as Jesus is interceding at the right hand of God in heaven. – It’s so Powerful; YOU, God the Holy Spirit & God the Son all in intercession to God the Father.
·         I was a cameraman on a shoot for a promo with a man who had written a book entitled “ARE YOU RUNNING WITH ME JESUS”; I thought the title was a little sacrilegious, and told him so. -  He shared with me that throughout the day, no matter what he was doing, he was in a running conversation with Jesus Christ. – He was Praying without ceasing according to the scriptures.  This gave me a fresh meaning to the term “Don’t judge a book by its cover”; nor a person.
·         In the book of Daniel we find Daniel’s prayer was heard immediately by God, but SPIRITUAL WARFARE was encountered as Satan fought the Angel of God for 21 days in order to stop the answer from getting to him … When we pray without ceasing, we become a part of the fight to receive the answer; what if Daniel had stopped praying? - God hears us before we begin to pray, and sends the answer before we finish and the WAR GAMES begin to stop the promises from reaching us. – It’s in the Book -

Ephesians 6:12 – Prayer is spiritual warfare against Evil Rulers
12 For we are not FIGHTING against flesh-and-blood enemies, but AGAINST EVIL RULERS AND AUTHORITIES of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against EVIL SPIRITS in the heavenly places. (NLT)
1 Timothy 2:1 – Pray in intercession for others
1 I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; INTERCEDE ON THEIR BEHALF, and give thanks for them. (NLT)
Matthew 5:4 - Blessed are those who grieve over lost sinners
4 God blesses THOSE WHO MOURN, for they will be comforted.
(NLT)
Romans 8:26 – The Holy Spirit knows the Will of God
26 And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But
THE HOLY SPIRIT PRAYS FOR US WITH GROANINGS
THAT CANNOT BE EXPRESSED IN WORDS. (NLT)
Daniel 10:12-13 – Satan fought 21 days to STOP the answer
12 he said unto me, Fear not, Daniel; for FROM THE FIRST DAY that thou didst set thy heart to understand, and to humble thyself before thy God, THY WORDS WERE HEARD: and I am come for thy words' sake.
13 But THE PRINCE OF THE KINGDOM OF PERSIA
(Satan’s Minions)
WITHSTOOD ME ONE AND TWENTY DAYS; but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me: and I remained there with the kings of Persia. (ASV)
1 Thessalonians 5:16 - Pray without ceasing – giving thanks
16 Rejoice always, PRAY WITHOUT CEASING, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Isaiah 65:24 - God will hear us before we even begin to pray
24 And it shall come to pass,
that before they call, I WILL ANSWER; and
while they are yet speaking, I WILL HEAR. (KJV)

Abba Father
·   We are NOT to PRAY to the disciples, the saints, angels or any person living or dead, but only to God the Father in Jesus name. - As Christians we are reminded to NOT CALL any man on earth ”Father”, but only God our Father in Heaven. – As our ABBA Father; our daddy, we can approach Him with boldness without an intercessor. - We should not only pray privately for ourselves, but pray openly with others; praying for their needs. – NYOBS 49.02 – LORD’S PRAYER REVISITED  – It’s in the Book -
Matthew 23:9 - Call no man on earth your father
9 And CALL NO MAN YOUR FATHER on earth, for
you have one Father, who is in heaven.
(ESV)
Matthew 6:9 – Pray to your father who is in heaven
9 Pray like this: OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN, may your name be kept holy. (NLT)
Galatians 4:6 – Call out to him as your daddy
6 And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “ABBA, FATHER.”
(NLT)

Scriptural Prayers
·         Have you heard someone on TV say, our thoughts and prayers are with you.  That’s what prayer has become; just words in a passing pleasantry that we just respond automatically.
·         Get your Bible and find a quiet place and approach His throne room boldly with the liberty given to you by His only begotten Son Jesus the Christ on the Cross.  NYOBS 52.18 - PRAYER
·         Humble yourself before Him and begin your prayer by acknowledging who God is and confess your sins before Him, forgiving others. - The Book says to speak succinctly, and avoiding the many word and vain repetitions; get right to the point with conciseness and brevity of speech.  The Father already knows your needs and your prayer gives them power.
·         Ask the Holy Spirit to help you pray the will of God, then pray believing that your petitions will be heard and answered by the Father. - If you are sick, anoint yourself with olive oil or whatever you have.  Pray out loud in the understanding and if you have been given the gift of speaking in tongues, then pray in the spirt also; do both.
·          Unspoken prayer request - I produced a live prayer “call in” TV program called “Intercession” and we would get phone calls for UNSPOKEN PRAYER REQUEST.  The Host said he could not pray a prayer of agreement if he did not know what it was that he was agreeing with.  So the caller told him that she wanted her boyfriend to come back to her and leave his wife.  Obviously according to the Book, he could not agree with that in prayer. UNSPOKEN PRAYER REQUEST ARE NOT SCRIPTURAL.
·         Be specific in your needs and plead your case before God. – Pray for a speedy answer, but at the same time be patient with God.
·         Pray songs of Praise in the understanding and in the spirit.  Pray while you are in the car coming and going.  If you have a prayer partner friend, then pray the prayer of agreement.
·         Thank God for His blessings and for His answered prayers.  Meditate on His Word, calling out to Him in remembrances what He has already promised in His Book.

FIND A QUIET PLACE
Matthew 6:6 - But when you pray,
GO INTO YOUR ROOM, CLOSE THE DOOR and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7 And when you pray,

The Take Away

·         The question that always comes to the forefront is why does God not answer my prayers?  The Book says; “Why do you bother reciting my decrees and pretending to obey my covenant when you treat my words like trash. - Because of your sins, I have turned away and will not listen anymore”.
·         If a stranger came to my front door and said he wanted to buy a car and would I mind co-signing with him on the loan, I would most definitely tell him, NO! …. But if my son came to the door all excited and wanted to buy a car and asked me to co-sign, I would most certainly say YES.
·         What is the difference? – The difference is I have a RELATIONSHIP with my son and I don’t with the stranger.  - I was Chief Engineer of a Christian TV station and when the transmitter would go off the air, I would go and get it back on.  I was asked how I could possibly even know where to start with something that is 20 feet long, full of relays, wires and tubes as big as a man.  I knew where to start because over time, I had really gotten to know it; I had spent so much time with it. -  You could say we had a relationship.
·         Do you have a relationship with God that warrants Him answering your prayers? - The Book says; “if you remain in Jesus and His words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted.” - But there is an IF THEN BUT Clause… IF you ask according to His Will. - The only way we can know His will, is to spend time with Him and develop a relationship.  The Good Shepherd says, He KNOWS His sheep and they KNOW His voice.

Psalm 50:16-17 – Why Bother; you treat my words like trash
16 But God says to the wicked:
WHY BOTHER RECITING MY DECREES and
PRETENDING TO OBEY MY COVENANT?
17 For you refuse my discipline and
TREAT MY WORDS LIKE TRASH. (NLT)
Isaiah 59:1-2 – Your sin has cut you off from God
1 Listen! The LORD’s arm is not too weak to save you, nor is his ear too deaf to hear you call.
2 IT’S YOUR SINS THAT HAVE CUT YOU OFF FROM GOD. BECAUSE OF YOUR SINS, he has turned away and
WILL NOT LISTEN ANYMORE. (NLT)
John 10:27 – I know my sheep and they listen to my voice
27 MY SHEEP listen to my voice;
I KNOW THEM, and they follow me. (NLT)
John 10:14 – The Sheep know the good shepherd
14 I am the good shepherd; I know my own sheep, and
THEY KNOW ME, (NLT)
John 15:7 – If you remain in Me, you may ask for anything
7 IF YOU REMAIN IN ME and
MY WORDS REMAIN IN YOU,
you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! (NLT)
1 John 5:14 – Ask according to His Will
14 Now this is the confidence we have before Him:
Whenever we ask anything
ACCORDING TO HIS WILL, He hears us. (HCSB)

Ephesians 6:12PRAYER WARRIORS - INVISIBLE WAR
12
WE ARE NOT FIGHTING AGAINST FLESH and BLOOD ENEMIES, but against EVIL RULERS and AUTHORITIES of the unseen world, against MIGHTY POWERS in this dark world, and
against EVIL SPIRITS in the heavenly places.
Ephesians 6:11-14 – Put on all of God’s Gospel Armor and Pray
11 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to
STAND firm against all strategies of the devil.
13 Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to RESIST the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be STANDING firm.
14 STAND your ground, putting on the BELT OF TRUTH and the BODY ARMOR of God’s RIGHTEOUSNESS.
15 For SHOES, put on the PEACE that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared.
16 In addition to all of these, hold up the SHIELD OF FAITH to stop the fiery arrows of the devil.
17 Put on SALVATION as your HELMET, and take the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, which is the word of God.
18 Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.
(NLT)

Proverbs 11:14

I am grateful to those that went before me providing concepts, ideas, historical
information, and scripture verses.  Because of them I can stand on their shoulders
and see further that I otherwise ever could have.
