TRUMP PRAYER & GOD

It is God that places men in authority to BLESS as well as SPANK a nation.

Political War Games

·         In elementary school I heard about living in a democracy and about people called Democrats and the others were called Presbyterians or something like that.  Democrats sounded like Democracy and that sounded like something that I wanted to be. – Like many others today, I didn’t have a clue about politics, I was just part of the “HERD”.

·         Thirty years later, Pat Robinson of the famed Christian 700 Club was running for President of the United States. – It was at that time I realized we are a REPUBLIC, so being a Republican sounded like a good thing to be, so I decided to be a Republican in order that I might be a part of putting a Christian in the White House. – I certainly was not savvy to the Left or Right; Liberal or Conservative, platforms, super packs or “The Machine”.

·         I jumped in with both feet and was asked to be a delegate to the convention. – It was then that I got my first shock of the reality of politics; to the infighting within my own party, the tricks, and the lies, the methods to discredit someone and tear down their character.

·         Amazingly it was as if everything had already been decided, it was a glimpse into what I would now call a shadow government or organization (or perhaps even the Illuminati) that was guiding “THE HERD”. – There is something called “The Herd Mentality” and all you have to do to get what you want is to GUIDE THE HERD; they will FOLLOW what they see everybody else doing…

·         Our Church was televised on Sunday and a friend told me he couldn’t help take up the offering because his friends might see him on TV and would know that he was a Christian.   He said he was a “double agent” within the Republican Party. – GOOD GRIEF –

·         With all the antics, I got out of politics seeking to vote only for the candidates whose voting record was as close to the concepts of the Bible as possible. - For a time, Churches put out a list of Candidates on where they stood concerning Bible issues to help make our choice.  Now they are intimidated to do so, in fear that they will lose their tax free status; so I have to study for myself; what a concept is that: study for myself.

·         Governments change, sometimes they are agents of help and sometimes they are harmful, if not downright evil.  The Bible is filled with Presidents or Kings who perpetrated evil on its people.  We should look at history for examples of the effects of God being removed from government and also how God used other nations to SPANK Israel. – When we go our own way and dishonor God, it results in separation from God.  NYOBS 41.26 – BAD PRESIDENTS

Voices for Trump

·         In my forties I admired Trump for his business savvy and I heard him say many times the best investment was real estate.  So I invested in rentals which dividends paid ten times what the bank paid plus my initial investment would continue to grow in value over the years.

·         I want good sound business practices to be utilized in the government to run it like a well-oiled debt free successful business machine, not from undue tax burdens on its citizens, but savvy decisions to reduce the size of government. – So I could easily board the Trump Train before he ever became a candidate for President.

·         Trump’s Billions seem to make him immune to being manipulated by super-packs, party mandates and special interest groups. – He could not be owned or HANDELED.

·         It’s amazing, but we make decisions based on how it will affect us personally, not what is best for everyone else; think about that. - Trump surrounded himself with other extremely wealthy people who are already successful in the business community.  They too would seem less likely to be motivated to do anything for themselves, but do the right thing for our country.

·         Christians in the White House Staff appeared.  Reince Priebus, the new White House Chief of Staff is impressive with his emphasis on family.  Kellyanne Conway one of Trump’s Senior Advisors is openly pro-life and pro-traditional marriage.  She is quoted as saying that “while all of the Trump stuff that is going on is exciting and historic, it is nothing compared to the universe in which we live, the God that I worship, and totality of our lives”. – Sean Spicer Press Secretary is pro-life and said in an interview on ETWN that he brings his faith to work with him every day and “looks to God every day to give him the strength to do what’s right” – Mike Pompeo, CIA Director is an evangelical pro-life Christian.

·         Vice President Mike Pence is an Evangelistic Christian who in 2007 openly opposed abortion and sought to defund Planned Parenthood.  He has criticized comprehensive sex education and spoke at the March for Life in 2017. – He openly opposes same sex marriages and civil unions.  He is quoted as saying that Pastors could be charged or be subject to intimidation for simply expressing a Biblical worldview on the issues of homosexual behavior.

·         When we vote, our vote should be in line with God’s Word and with Biblical Values.

Proverbs 11:14 – With many GODLY advisors there is Wisdom
¹⁴ Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety. (ESV)  

Voices against Trump

·         Many felt that Trump was the best candidate for President till he opened his mouth and spoke crudely. - I can easily jump off the Trump Train and put myself in this category too.

·         The scriptures that speaks about a man that is quick to vent his mind is a FOOL and another that says even a FOOL is considered wise until he speaks.

·         TRUMP SHOOTS FROM THE LIP – Scripture says speak evil of no one, avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people.

·         There are other scriptures that say there will come times of difficulty such as the ELECTIONS when candidates will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, ungrateful, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, and having the appearance of godliness; to AVOID SUCH PEOPLE.

Proverbs 29:11 – A FOOL quickly vents his thoughts
¹¹A fool gives full vent to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back. (ESV)

Proverbs 17:28 – A FOOL is considered wise if he does not speak
²⁸ Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent.

Titus 3:1-2 – Speak evil to no one, show COURTESY to all people
¹  Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work,

2 Timothy 3:5 – STAY AWAY from people who ACT religious
⁵ They will ACT RELIGIOUS, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!

Undecided Voices

·         It’s bothersome when people say that they are a Christian, but act as if it’s just a membership in another club and added to that, they don’t do like you expect them to do, and are not politically correct, nor polished and they don’t weigh their words and DON’T CARE WHAT YOU THINK.

·         Scripture recalls Sampson who was called by God before he was ever born to take the Nazirite vow and be a JUDGE over Israel.  Although he was a Judge, he DID NOT seek God in his actions; far from it, According to Josephus the Jewish Historian, he became FULL OF PRIDE and ARROGANCE stating that God had nothing to do with his success, although much later he did Acknowledge God’s guiding hand. -   NYOBS 22.03 – JOSEPHUS JEWISH  HISTORIAN

·         The Philistines were the enemy of God and Sampson married a prostitute Philistine woman, bringing shame to his parents – However; his marriage, his ARROGANCE, his PRIDE and LACK OF HUMILITY was USED by GOD in His ultimate plan and in the end Sampson the Judge killed more heathen Philistines in his death than he did in his life time. -  NYOBS 27.16 - SAMPSON

·         King Nebuchadnezzar was THE ENEMY of Israel and was God’s enemy, BUT God called him “His Servant”.  God uses those in authority to carry out HIS WILL, knowing their hearts fully.

·         NOTE: All through scripture, God would raise up a king “TO SPANK” Israel to get them back in line. – While each spanking was devastating, it did not wipe them out, but it did get them to seek God’s face once again.

Is America under President Donald J. Trump

about to get a BLESSING or a SPANKING?

·         Did you ever think, that God would allow a person to come into power as our President to get our attention back on JEHOVAH GOD? – I think scripture would shout out a resounding YES.

·         Kings, Emperors and Presidents are ALL put into power and given authority by God Himself; they are ALL His servants. -  NYOBS 41.26 – BAD PRESIDENTS

·         So many Christian voters had the dilemma; to vote for a Un-Believer or a Make-Believer.  This brought many undecided voters to the position of voting for a COMMITTED Christian VICE PRESIDENT and whoever was his running mate.

Josephus 9:301 – Sampson became proud and vaunted himself

301 Upon this slaughter Samson was too proud of what he had performed and aside that this did not come to pass by the assistance of God, but that his successes was to be ascribed to this own courage and vaunted himself, that it was out of a dread of him that some of his enemies fell, and the rest ran away upon his use of the jawbone.

Judges 13:2-5 - Sampson called to judge before his birth

2 A certain man of Zorah, named Manoah, from the clan of the Danites, had a wife who was sterile and remained childless.

3 The angel of the LORD appeared to her and said, "You are sterile and childless, but you are going to conceive and have a son.

4 Now see to it that you drink no wine or other fermented drink and that you do not eat anything unclean,

5 because you will conceive and give birth to a son. No razor may be used on his head, because the boy is to be a Nazirite, set apart to God from birth, and he will begin the deliverance of Israel from the hands of the Philistines."  NIV

Jeremiah 27:6 – Evil Nebuchadnezzar – Gods Servant
⁶ Now I will give your countries to King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, who is my servant. I have put everything, even the wild animals, under his control. (NLT)

Romans 13:1-2 – It is God that appoints our President

¹ Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.
² Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. (ESV)

The Matrix

·         The movie “The Matrix” believe it or not was a parable right out of the Bible with the sub plot of the fight between Good and Evil; God against Satan.

·         Nebuchadnezzar is the name of the hovercraft ship that keeps Morpheus’ crew safe. - In scripture King Nebuchadnezzar was the king of Babylon where all the heathen gods were birthed along with the famed tower of Babel.  - He was the enemy of Israel and of God; but God used him in His sovereign plan.  He was the agent of God’s Justice. - God called him His servant. NYOBS 18.10 – TOWER OF BABEL

·         While Nebuchadnezzar was an Evil King; looking at the “Matrix”; God had placed Good on the inside of this hovercraft in the form of THE CREW. – God can use Evil for Good.

·         With that said, there is scriptural evidence that after Daniel interpreted the dream of Nebuchadnezzar that he actually became a believer in the God of Israel; a “son of God”, a follower of ‘THE ONE GOD” of Israel; YAHWEH. – NYOBS 42.02 – THE MATRIX, A PARABLE. – Do yourself a favor and read The Matrix NYOBS then watch all three of the movies “in sequence” again.

·         Plaque – There is a plaque inside the Nebuchadnezzar that simply reads Mark III, II or to say it another way Mark 3:11 which from scripture reads, “You are the Son of God”.

·         NOTE; In the beginning I believe Nebuchadnezzar was a non-Believer, then became a Make-Believer and in the end I believe scripture supports that he became a True Believer, so if Trump seems to be a Make-Believer to you, I think that the Holy Hound of Heaven will get him while he is still in office.

Mark 3:11 - You are the Son of God
¹¹ and whenever the unclean spirits saw him, they fell down before him and cried out, “You are the SON OF GOD.” (ESV)

Jeremiah 27:6 - Nebuchadnezzar became God’s pawn; His Servant
⁶ and now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him. (KJV)

Daniel 4:2-37 – Nebuchadnezzar exalts God – May be a Believer
² It is my (Nebuchadnezzar) pleasure to tell you about the miraculous signs and wonders that the Most High God has performed for me.
³⁷ Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And those who walk in pride he is able to humble. (NIV2011)

AND THEN GOD

·         What was amazing to me, is before Hillary Clinton announced her candidacy for President, she along with the Democratic Party, the Super Delegates and MY SELF thought because of the “SYSTEM” and because of Trump’s arrogant mouth, she would surely become President.

·         There was just no way that someone who was not ‘PART OF THE SYSTEM” could be elected; the RUSSIANS must have rigged the voting machines; that’s it, the Russians did it.

·         There is a story in scripture about Daniel praying to God for help.  God heard him before he began to pray, and immediately dispatched an Angel before he had even finished praying and the forces of Evil fought the angel for 21 days to stop the promises of God from reaching him.  What if Daniel had stopped praying?

·         This is STAR WARS - We are not in a battle with flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, and against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places and PRAYER is our ONLY weapon.

·         This was the first election that I had ever prayed for God to NOT give us what we deserve, but to give us MERCY. – I firmly believed that NEITHER CANDIDATE was right for America. -  I had to HOLD MY NOSE AND VOTE.

·         I prayed often and for more than 21 days, and I believe my prayers joined with other Christians everywhere as they humbled themselves and prayed; “AND THEN GOD” heard. God had already said that if CHRISTIANS would humble themselves, pray and seek His face and turn from their wicked ways, THEN HE WOULD HEAR from heaven, forgive their sins and HEAL THEIR LAND.

·         Franklin Graham, President and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and of Samaritan’s Purse said that it was not the Russian Hackers that put Trump in power, it was THE HAND OF GOD. – He was just quoting the Bible; “There is no authority except from God and those that exist have been instituted by Him”. – The mysterious hand of Divine Providence was at work in this election.

·         I like the part in the Bible where God acknowledges those in power got mad because their plots failed and now they are taking counsel together to plot against the one who the LORD has chosen and God just sits in the heavens and laughs and continues to mess with their plans. – NOW THAT’S FUNNY because IT’S IN THE BOOK.

Ephesians 6:12 – We battle against rulers of darkness in this age
¹² For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. (NKJV)

Daniel 10:12-13 - Angels have to fight their way to us
¹² Then he said to me, “Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and humbled yourself before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come because of your words.
¹³ The prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me TWENTY-ONE DAYS, but Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I was left there with the kings of Persia,

Romans 13:1 – All PRESIDENTS & authority is instituted by God
¹ Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is NO AUTHORITY EXCEPT FROM GOD, and those that exist have been instituted by God. (ESV)

Psalm 2:1-4 - God just laughs at all the conniving
¹ Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain?
² The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and against his Anointed, saying,
³ Let us burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us.”
⁴ He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision. (ESV)

Daniel 2:20-23 – God removes kings and sets up kings
²⁰ Daniel answered and said: “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, to whom belong wisdom and might.
²¹ He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding;
²² He reveals deep and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him.

Proverbs 21:1 – God directs the President’s wherever He chooses
¹ A king’s heart is like streams of water in the LORD’s hand: He directs it wherever He chooses. (HCSB)

Job 12:23-25 – God makes nations great, and He destroys them;
²³ He makes nations great, and he destroys them; he enlarges nations, and leads them away.
²⁴ He takes away understanding from the chiefs of the people of the earth and makes them wander in a trackless waste.
²⁵ They grope in the dark without light, and he makes them stagger like a drunken man. (ESV)

Hatred

·         In the Electronic News Gathering Media, we are taught that the Standard of Excellence in doing a BALANCED job of journalism is when we please HALF of the people.  If everybody is happy, then we are just placating the “HERD”.

·         If that is the standard for excellence, then Trump is doing an EXCELENT JOB, because half the people don’t just not like him, they HATE him. – Have you ever witnessed in History such wide spread intense hatred for a political leader whose only platform is TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.

·         This begs the question; is all of this severe hatred because Trump is bringing God back into the Government with his appointments of Senior Officials with DEEP FAITH in God?

·         What might not seem obvious, many of those interviewed in the protests don’t even know the basis for their protest, they are just out following the HERD and the HERD is being guided by Satan to KEEP GOD OUT of Government, schools, the workplace and family. – Have you noticed that the Government welfare system favors a family with no father present?

·         You must get this – The rejection of Biblical concepts is the rejection of Almighty God.

Psalm 33:12 - Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD
¹² Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage! (ESV)

Jeremiah 29:7 – Pray for your city to prosper; then you will too
⁷ Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, YOU TOO WILL PROSPER.” (NIV2011)

1 Peter 2:9 – Believers are chosen to proclaim His excellences
⁹ But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellences of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. (ESV)

Prayer Respect Honor

·         As bad or corrupt or deranged as we may believe a president or a government is and even if we did not vote for them, does not relieve us from the responsibility of praying for them; that’s not an option. – We are COMMANDED to pray for those in authority that we may enjoy a peaceful and quiet life that is godly and dignified in every way. – Our President must deal with North Korea and their nuclear weapons, ISIS, Jihadist terrorist that want to cut the heads off Christians, National Security leaks and as a Thorn in the Flesh; FAKE NEWS and controversy over which bathroom we can go PEE in.

·         Charles Spurgeon said that “Prayer is the slender nerve that moves the Omnipotent muscle of God”. – Praying for the President is about our relationship with God, not with Trump.

·         We should pray that our President will be surrounded with Godly council making Godly decisions that will be for the nations benefit. – We should pray that the President will appoint Chief Justice and associate Justices to the Supreme Court that embrace Biblical Values as this will affect us for our entire life and that of our children and that the Justices will receive wisdom from God and act on it – God is watching over what He has already said and will perform it.

·         We are to not only pray for our President and his cabinet, but for all that are in authority; that would include Judges, Congressmen, Senators and Law Enforcement Officers, employers, school boards and principals. -  Some may not even be saved, even more reason to pray and intercede that they might come to the saving grace of Jesus Christ and pray for Pastors, Elders, Deacons and the like, they too seek to guide us.

·         This makes practical sense as all these people affect the conditions upon which we live in and impacts our city, our church, our workplace and our family’s lives.

·         Those in authority are often the targets of criticism, face complex and dangerous challenges and are stressed and weary from trying to do the right thing. – We should recognize the greatness of their task and pray for their wisdom, spiritual understanding, protection and strength to bear up under the load; to be encouraged and pray for their relationship with their families. - Scripture says because of their position of authority they will be JUDGED more strictly.  - It’s in the Book -

·         We are subject to the governing authorities and when we oppose and resist the President we resist God who has appointed him and there are consequences. – We are commanded to pay to all what is owed: taxes to whom taxes are owed, money to whom money is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed which includes our President. When we do so, we are living in obedience to God and it pleases Him. - It’s in the Book. -

1 Timothy 2:1-4 We are urged to pray for our President
¹  First of all, then, I urge that supplications, PRAYERS, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people,
²  for kings (PRESIDENTS) and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.
³ His is good, and IT IS PLEASING in the sight of God our Savior,
⁴  who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. (ESV)

Romans 13:7 – Give honor and respect to the President
⁷ Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed. (ESV)

² Therefore WHOEVER RESISTS THE AUTHORITIES RESISTS WHAT GOD HAS APPOINTED, and those who resist will incur judgment. (ESV)

James 3:1 – Those in authority will be judged more strictly
¹ Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness. (ESV)

Jeremiah 1:12 – God is watching over His Word & will perform it
¹² Then the LORD said to me, “You have seen well, for I am watching over my word to perform it.” (ESV)

Last Thoughts

We still don’t know if God put President Donald J, Trump into power to BLESS us or to SPANK us. 

If we get what we deserve we will surely get spanked and it WILL be serious.

This is the more reason for us to humble ourselves and pray for God’s mercy and grace.
