The earth is cursed from
creation,
so earth quakes and other natural disasters simply happen according to the Laws
of Nature; God is just a bystander and He simply allows calamity because
of a higher purpose, He will bring good out of it; in the end we all will win.

Think about that statement, is God helpless because
of a fallen world. - Does He deal with natural disasters the best that He can.
- Is the God that created the whole universe not all-powerful enough to stop the
winds and calm the waters? – Did God create the world; wind it up with the Laws
of Nature and then just let it go? - When Satan corrupted this world, did he not
became the god of this world?

Who is responsible for droughts, killer
hurricanes, catastrophic earthquakes, floods, and devastating tsunamis’? – What
is the Role that God and Satan play in this cosmic drama?

The Good Book says SATAN comes to KILL STEAL and DESTROY
and was a MURDER and a LIAR from the beginning and the truth is not found in
him. – He is the god of this world, he is the Prince of the Power of the Air.
– If it moves through the air, he controls it, and is only limited because of
the four angels of the Lord who restrain the four winds.

The Good Book says JESUS came to give LIFE and to
give it more abundantly and that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life and our
God is a GOOD God.

This study is to take a
WIDER look
at both the character of Satan and that of God. – If we say that everything
that involves destruction and loss of life comes from Satan, then what you have

Cosmic Conflict

Let’s look at the conflict between Satan and God
concerning Job. - Satan accused Job’s love of God was because of all the Good
things that God had done for Him. – Satan implies that God is playing
favorites - This accusation sets up the test for Job and his Faith.
·
Satan has been given
permission
to do to Job as he sees fit, but limits him; to not take his life. – NYOBS 02.37 – WHY DID GOD TEST JOB? -- NYOBS 54.25 - SOVEREIGNTY
OF GOD REVISITED.

Satan sends robbers that steal his oxen and
donkeys, then lighting that kills
his sheep as well as some of his servants then more robbers who steal his Camels and kills more of his
servants, then a tornado that
kills all his children and wipes out everything else that he has, then Satan
sticks in his knife blade and twists it by afflicting him with a disease of boils and sores.

Note: It was Satan that sent the troubles, but it
was only with God’s permission and it came with limitations. This sets up the THEOLOGY
of “God’s Sovereignty” and “God’s permissive Will”.
·
Looking at ONLY this story, we can conclude that
Satan is behind ALL of the natural
disasters of this world and ALL of the meanness, troubles and
disease’s; and it is allowed by God in His ”Permissive Will” according
to His purpose. - So here is where we are; nothing happens outside of the
permissive will of God because He is sovereign.

Who is in
charge of Nature?

God controls the mist, the rain, the
wind and sustains the universe. He has
power over the clouds, lighting and over ALL of nature. – The winds and the seas
obey Him. – At creation He hung the earth on nothing.
·
Natural Disasters do not seem evil
in themselves if that happen in the middle of the ocean or somewhere in the
desert where no one is injured. - When
you say “who’s the blame”, it denotes wrong doing, it implies accountability,
but God is not accountable to anyone. - The
Potter is not accountable to the vessel; He makes out of the clay
whatever He chooses. – We as a finite being cannot judge an infinite God.

God allows, ordains and
permits Satan, Demons and mankind
to exercise their LIMITED Free Will to do the greatest good, as well as their
greatest wickedness. The results are
used according to His purpose, His plan and His will. – All of these things
will work together for Good for those that love the Lord. – It’s in the Book -

Israel – Wrath of God

Until recently America has been
Israel’s best friend, but beginning in the 1990’s America began to exert
political pressure on Israel to surrender their land to the Palestinian
terrorist. – NOTE:
The name Israel literally means “He will rule as God”.

October 30, 1991 President Bush signed
the “Land for Peace” agreement that demanded Israel turn over their land to the
Palestine’s in exchange for peace. You
may recall that the very next day on October 31st a massive “Perfect
Storm” hit Kennebunkport, Maine and destroyed the home of President George
H. Bush.

August 23, 1992 President Bush pushed
forward and attempted to sell his proposal of “Land for Peace” which
divided the land in Israel. – You may recall that the same day Hurricane Andrew
smashed into Florida with over 30 billion dollars of destruction.

January 16, 1994 President Bill Clinton pushes
forward an agreement that included Israel giving up their land in the “Golan Heights”
which would leave them defenseless. – Within 24 hours a 6.9 earthquake hits
Southern California.

September 28, 1998 President Bill Clinton
declares the “Independent Palestine State” with his “Land for Peace” deal. -
That same day Hurricane George hits the Gulf coast causing a billion dollars in
damages.

In Early September 2001 violent
terrorist sent rockets into Israel resulting with many deaths and injuries. America did nothing to help their friend
Israel who was under the attack of terrorism, and in fact turned their back
on them and forbid and threatened Israel with financial bribery
if they retaliated.

September 11, 2001 known as “911” – Just
days after the attack on Israel and America turning its back on them, terrorism
struck the twin towers in New York City, - There has always been a HEDGE
OF PROTECTION around America, but days after we turned our back on Israel, God removed
His protective hedge and Terrorism came to the soil of the United States. – It’s in the Book -

The Good Book says God will bring ALL
the nations together for judgment who have DIVIDED up His Land. – He will PURSUE them with His WINDS and TERRIFY

Tsunami Indian Ocean

Jewish proverb; where the Law of God is
not taught, there Satan dwells. – Pergamum in Asia Minor was once known as the
place where Satan dwells; the seat of Satan.

December 25, 2004; the Christians in the
Muslim dominated town of “Meulaboh” wanted to celebrate Christmas, but the
local Muslims objected and suggested that they celebrate outside of the town’s
city limit; which they did.

December 26, 2004; a 9 magnitude earth
quake hit the coast of North Sumatra, Indonesia which caused several major
Tsunamis which radiated in all directions. – The waves hit Sumatran, Thailand,
Sri Lanka and India. - When the Tsunami hit, the Christians were still out of
town on a hill celebrating Christmas and all were saved, whereas most of the
Muslims in the town died.

The town survivors of four different
religions as well as atheist reported that this was the powerful hand of
God of which they were helpless in its wake. – They themselves reported that
this was divine punishment for them not obeying the divine commands of
their various religions. – However, for the Christians, THIS WAS PROBABLY JUST
A COINCIDENCE.

scheduled, Hurricane Katrina destroyed all of New Orleans. Their levees broke; thousands of victims were
trapped; gas prices escalated; there was murder, rape, perverse crimes with uncontrollable
looting, plus the ransacking of hospitals by the lawless seeking drugs; then a
complete collapse of the state’s infrastructure for disaster relief.

A person must be held
accountable
for their own actions and decisions when they refuse to get out of the way of an
unstoppable hurricane, especially when there is ample warning about the
magnitude of the storm; but many people thumbed their nose and simply chose to
ride out the storm and many of them died.

“Coming Out” parade Saturday called “Orlando Pride 2016”. “Savannah Georgia Pride” was also scheduled

diminish His reputation of goodness and mercy.

Last Thoughts
·
America leads the world in filth, nudity, porn,
homosexuality, sex slave trade, pedophilia and abortions, yet somehow we think that
we are better than those in other countries.

God controls the weather either to punish
the people or to bless them with His unfailing love. – If Satan could
have an impact on weather, it would only be with God’s permission. Only once in scripture is Satan given the
credit for a destructive wind and with that He had to get permission from
God and it came with limits.
·
God has ordained whatever comes to pass,
so His invisible hand is in our pain. He
causes it to rain on the just and unjust alike, the evil and the good. –
Tragedies give the believer the opportunity to serve, feed and share the Word.
·
God’s mercy presupposes His Wrath; “LET’S
REASON TOGETHER”; if God is merciful, He must also be wrathful otherwise there
is no reason for Him to be merciful.
·
It was the work of Jesus
on the Cross
that appeased the WRATH OF GOD.
·
Natural disasters are a
megaphone
for God that shows us the uncertainty of life. - At the second coming of Jesus Christ, there
will be many natural disasters that will accompany His return.
·
Our Time is short and
eternity is long. Natural disasters do not increase the death
rate because we are all going to die someday anyway. It’s the condition of a man’s heart when he
dies that causes the anguish. – Life is Choice Driven; the choices we make on
this side of life have eternal consequences – It’s in the Book. -
If a man must perish, let him be
required to push past our bodies
as we extend the message of Jesus
Christ. – If they must die,
let it be with our arms about them
on our knees praying for them.
Let no one go to hell unwanted or
un-prayed for.
